TU Online Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Teesside University with a dedicated focus on providing flexible online learning opportunities across a range of Teesside degree courses.

In this role you will support TU Online Ltd in delivering 100% online learning, the role is focused specifically upon the delivery of HNCs and HNDs in Electrical Engineering. You will provide online tuition, assessment of students' work according to given marking schemes, and give feedback to students to help them in their learning; providing academic support through online tuition teaching methods.

You will be expected to monitor the progress of students on their module, including making contact with students who do not submit assignments and implementing appropriate interventions, where required.

If successful you will be the first point of contact for students for module-related and study-related advice and support, facilitating study groups where appropriate.

The successful candidate will help students with the development of study skills in connection with the module, making proactive contact with students at a number of defined points in the module (e.g. first assignment, assessment/ examination support).

We are looking for an individual with previous experience in online learning and teaching, competent in the use of virtual learning environments and LMS. Project supervision and research methodologies experience would also be desirable.
