We are looking for experiencedTV Writersand enthusiasts to join our prestigious Magazines hub. This is a fantastic opportunity to source and write engaging TV content, including exclusive interviews, news and shoots for all Reach magazines and supplements including OK!, New, Saturday, We Love TV, Hot TV, S Magazine, Notebook, TV Life and Love Sunday every week, as well as daily content for Ok.co.uk.

We’re looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives from people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many communities so we can continue to diversify our content.

We currently have two roles available, both are remote home working positions. One can be based anywhere within the UK and one must be based in/around London.


Job Description


What will the role involve?

You will write exciting TV content for our print and digital magazine brands, from interviewing TV celebrities to covering live TV shows, you will be at the centre of all things TV. You will develop and pitch fresh and engaging ideas for TV content, whilst keeping our magazine brands in mind. You will help grow the audience of Ok.co.uk with your live reporting, preparing and scheduling of spoilers and entertaining coverage of breaking TV news.

You will attend events on behalf of our magazine brands, covering red carpets and live TV events, building your contacts as you go. You will utilise various social media platforms to further drive traffic to your content on Tik Tok, Instagram Live and more. This position will involve working in varying shift patterns including weekends and evenings, so a flexible approach is required.


Qualifications


Who are we looking for?

You are an NCTJ qualified journalist or equivalent, with a passion for all things TV, from dramas and soaps to reality TV, documentaries, film and beyond. You have a proven track record of writing TV or entertainment content within an established, fast paced newsroom, website or magazine environment. You have exceptional writing skills and you are a pro when it comes to interviewing high profile celebrities.

You have experience publishing multiple stories a day at pace and meeting deadlines with ease. You have an enviable contact book of celebrities, PRs, sources and agents that you can use to develop exciting, traffic driving content. You understand how to utilise social media to drive traffic and have excellent legal media knowledge
