What you'll be doing:
·Defining product content of Avionics releases, documented in the ASR (Avionics System Requirement) and corresponding ASD (Avionic System Definition)
·Ensuring achievement of key deliverables of the Avionics Joint Team (AJT) including the coordination of all associated AJT activities
·Management of outputs required by other teams and dependencies into the AJT from other teams to discharge AJT activities
·Ensuring there is complete awareness across the Avionic Sub-systems as to the impact of their activities, including any deviation of the activities from the agreed programme
·Monitoring risk and the progress of mitigation actions for those risks
·The integration and harmonisation of the system level plans and programmes with the Avionic Sub-systems across the European Partner Companies by discussion at the Avionics Operations Review(s)
·Attend operations meeting for the relevant Avionics products/contracts
·Provide technical and programme information and briefings to the AJT, Avionics Management and Eurofighter teams
·Primary interface to overall EF and EPC Avionic product Managers
Your skills and experiences:
·A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience/qualifications
·Capable of progressing a number of concurrent tasks and having a delivery focus with cognisance of quality, schedule and cost
·Capable of effectively communicating progress and challenges to a senior stakeholder community
·Experience of working across a systems and software lifecycle and understanding Typhoon processes
·Working within agreed standards and procedures
·Capable of influencing strategy amongst a multi-functional programme stakeholder community
