About Our Client
My client is a bank with offices in Sutton and is looking to expand their current testing team comprised of five members. They are currently working in a hybrid model meaning Monday's and Wednesday's on-site with the remaining days working from home.
Job Description
My Sutton based client is looking for a Tester with Financial Services experience to engage in:
- Running manual and automated tests
- Executing test cases
- Creating various Testing scenarios
- Analyse and interpret test results for new or modified products
- Provide insight during static reviews of requirements and product design to identify defects and risks
- Design test plans, scenarios and procedures based on product specification, including the availability of appropriate test equipment and appropriate test automation
- Track production targets and adjust test processes and/or make recommendations to improve overall delivery methodology
- Example projects include integrating and automating payment flows
- Collaborating with various stakeholders including operations teams, Business Analysts, Project Mangers and Users
- The scheduling of test procedures in line with delivery dates to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this Tester role with my financial services client based in Sutton, the candidate must present evidence of the following:
- An ability to technically understand new skills quickly with ongoing changes to new and existing systems
- Solid exposure to automating payment flows (SWIFT payment knowledge is required)
- Good exposure to at least Automation Testing
- An ability to multitask and manage time across various projects
- Both work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to understand technical discussions and adapt test focus accordingly to identify defects and improve product quality
- Ability to test and create scenarios for a variety bespoke banking applications
- Familiarity with a range of test management tools and procedures
- End-to-End Process Understanding
