This role involves playing a pivotal part in supporting the development and delivery of strategic product updates. Key Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this role is UI Development, working collaboratively within the broader technical solutions team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical constraints.
• Building the UI for new applications and enhancing existing ones.
• Prioritising UI/UX, advocating for user experience and design.
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Continuously improving front-end service performance.
• Staying updated on the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Exploring and experimenting with new solutions.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years in a Software Engineering position.
• Understanding the full development lifecycle for delivering user-centred digital solutions.
• Proven expertise in front-end product development, with extensive experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and associated technologies.
• Strong knowledge and experience of front-end frameworks; Angular 12+.
• Familiarity with UI controls, tools, and frameworks.
• Implementation of visual elements into web applications.
• Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and web security best practices.
• Strong design sense, with experience translating prototypes to responsive user interfaces.
• Experience sourcing and managing related UI assets (icons, images, fonts, etc.).
• Experience with development tools and source control.
• Experience with web development and consuming RESTful APIs.

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with JQuery.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Familiarity with SQL databases.
• Experience with mobile development.
