Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Whole School Principal to lead our school in Abu Dhabi, UAE starting in August 2024. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UK Curriculum and a proven track record of successful school leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the school in accordance with the UK Curriculum
• Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the school's policies, procedures and curriculum
• Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student success and wellbeing
• Foster strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community
• Manage and develop the school's budget and resources effectively
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Lead and support the professional development of all staff members
• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of high-quality teachers and support staff
• Collaborate with the school's senior leadership team to drive academic excellence and a culture of continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, and the governing body
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a Whole School Principal
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the UK Curriculum
• Master's degree in Education or a related field
• Teaching qualification and experience in a UK Curriculum school
• Proven track record of successful school leadership and achievement of academic excellence
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Experience working in an international school setting is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse staff and student population
