The Role:
We are looking for someone to provide Underwriting Support and administration, providing agreed levels of customer service to brokers and colleagues and to develop a broad understanding of commercial underwriting skills.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing New Business enquiries prior to submission to underwriters
- Reviewing completed quotation requests and providing feedback to brokers and underwriters as necessary
- Liaising with brokers in terms of coverage and pricing
- Dealing with background checks, payment by instalment enquiries, updating policies records
- Assisting with claims enquiries
- Answering phone calls and assisting with enquiries
- Carrying out Sanction Search checks
- Administration of Premium Credit instalment requirements
- Managing own workload of New and Existing Business cases as well as mid-term adjustments subject to agreed levels of authority
- Assisting with general administration as required
- Adherence to compliance and regulatory procedures
Experience:
Demonstrates a general understanding of the subject and can apply things learned under supervision
Demonstrates a full understanding of the subject and can apply things learned subject to authority levels and referral procedures.
