Elevation Recruitment Group, Business Support division are working with a company located in Rotherham who are seeking an Underwriter to join their team.
As an Underwriter you will support the business in financial applications ensuring to stick to regulatory requirements and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and process financial applications ensuring compliance with lending criteria and regulations
- Provide timely updates to clients.
- Handle queries via phone, email, and letters
- Maintain high standards of customer service and exceed expectations.
- Generate management reports on case progression
- General administration and data entry
Requirements for the role:
Experience in finance sector
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong customer service with confident phone manner
Meticulous attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel; committed to skill enhancement
