As a Unit Nurse Manager (General) ata Barchester Care Home, you’ll use your compassion and initiativeto make sure our residents get the quality care they deserve. We’lllook to you to plan, manage and monitor the delivery of nursingthat meets all of our residents’ needs. This means you’ll implementperson-centred care plans that make a real difference to ourresidents’ day-to-day lives. As part of your wide range ofresponsibilities, you can expect to plan rotas, recruit, train andmentor staff and build relationships with local regulators andsocial services. In the role of Unit Nurse Manager (General),you’ll have the freedom and autonomy to take your unit fromstrength to strength, with plenty of opportunities for professionaldevelopment along the way.
ABOUTYOU
To join us as a Unit Nurse Manager(General), you’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with acurrent NMC registration. Experience in producing well-developedcare plans and detailed risk assessments is important, as is anup-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatoryframeworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.You’ll be a natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor,including supporting newly qualified nurses through theirpreceptorship. Dedicated, ambitious and resilient, you’ll have astrong track record of delivering improvements to achieve qualitycare.
