Unity Developer

We're looking for a talented Unity Developer who is happy to travel to our Newcastle office 2-3 times per week and work at the highest levels of virtual and augmented reality. This person will be responsible for scene functionality and translating concepts, designs, and requirements into complete fully functioning scenes. The Unity developer must have excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a good sense of teamwork for developing a common vision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain clean code.
• Identify process and application bottlenecks, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Establish an effective pipeline for strategy and development.
• Ensure the optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• On-site technical support along with remote support as and when required.

We would love to speak to you if you have the following:

• 3+ years’ experience and a deep knowledge of Unity
• Object oriented programming C++/C#
• Proven experience in HMD graphics optimisation techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud-based real-time streaming platforms.
• General understanding and experience with SaaS technology ecosystem including CMS and data management.
• Agile working experience.

Desirable:

• AI Knowledge of Mid Journey or similar.
• Demonstrable – VR/AR/MR project experience
