Our client is looking for an experienced Universal Grinder to join their growing team.

Universal Grinder Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ability to set and operate a Universal Grinder / Cylindrical Grinder
• Batching, planning, and scheduling work packages to meet deadlines
• Operating Jones and shipman CNC machines
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawing
• Manufacturing of components to meet drawing specification and tolerance
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on grinding machinery
• Use of measuring equipment and gauges
• Working safely in an engineering machining environment

Universal Grinder Ideal Candidate will have:

• Surface Grinding experience (Desirable)
• Jones and Shipman Suprema / Ultramat machine experience (desirable)
• Previously worked within the Aerospace industry -(desirable)

Universal Grinder Working Hours:

• 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday
