What will the role of an Unqualified MathsTeacher entail?

· Teaching for a maximum of 17 hours per week

· Have your own classes that they you responsible for with the support of a subject specialist mentor who would work with you intensively

· Provided schemes of work

· Working alongside the School covering all lessons

· Providing high quality cover lessons - KS3-4 basis

· Having a subject specialism where your personal strengths lie

· Raising attainment & the quality of learning

· Managing behavior effectively

· September Start - Full Time - Term Time Only

Successful candidates shall have the opportunity to enroll onto the Schools Direct PGCE - This is where you shall complete a 12-week course, resulting at the end (if successful) the status of QTS - This is pending prior experience.

Unqualified Maths Teacher PERSON SPECIFICATION

· Maths Degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from a reputable university

· Strong understanding of the Secondary curriculum required

· Previous classroom experience is required!

· You must show a passion and creative flare towards education and inspiring young minds

· Understanding of the teaching standards
