Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple skilled Electricians in Cambridge to start work immediately.

Electrical Technician

Day shift: 13.35ph - 16.50ph

Location: Cambridge

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 08:00am - 16:00pm - Early Finish Friday - Overtime paid at x 1.5

This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance medical solutions. You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets, offering ample opportunity for progression and development.

Our client requires candidates who have proven assembly skills and previous experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the assembly and manufacture of electrical harnesses, electrical components & control modules
• Installation of electronic components
• Tests, quality checks and inspection of electrical assemblies
• Experience in the fitting of aircraft galleries
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring diagrams
• Ability to work to production deadlines
• To ensure products are built to the required quality standard
• Adherence to Health & Safety standards
• Responsible for keeping a safe and efficient workspace

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a production environment
• Electrical experience (preferred 3 to 5 years in aerospace)
• Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRP
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
• Strong communication and team working skills
• High regard for Health and Safety
• Time served apprenticeship preferred electrical basis
• Gives and welcomes feedback and contributes to building a positive team spirit
