Urology Clinic Nurse Practitioner

To use up to date knowledge and evidence to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care, communicate findings, influence change and promote health and best practice. To achieve and maintain competence in identified mandatory and statutory training, develop and maintain clinical competencies, skills and knowledge which relate to the area of clinical practice. Duties will include assisting Consultants and Specialist Nurses and facilitating our own nurse led clinics within the clinic environment whilst undertaking *Flexible Cystoscopies *Trans Perineal Prostate Biopsies *Trial without catheter *Urodynamic Studies *Teaching intermittent self catheterisation/Dilation *Administration of intravesical chemotherapy *Performing flow rates / bladder scans / catheterisation *Referral of patients to other services eg District Nurse
