US Tax Manager - Private Client

Join the International Entrepreneurial team of a leading Top 10 advisory firm as a US Tax Manager, a newly created role reflecting their commitment to market expansion. Collaborating closely with the team director, you'll contribute to building exceptional service within a respected brand.

This role suits professionals specialised in US/UK Tax within the Private Client tax, moving away from a dual handling role. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of US clients, leading tax projects, ensuring compliance, and fostering client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage US client portfolios, overseeing tax compliance and relationship management.
• Develop and execute tax strategies for clients with US and UK interests.
• Review US tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide proactive tax advice and support to clients, collaborating with senior team members.
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely project completion.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate within the tax team.

Skills & Expertise:

• US Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly preferable, but we welcome strong candidates with relevant experience but are still studying towards the qualifications.
• Experience in US tax compliance and advisory services is essential.
• Familiarity with UK tax regulations is highly preferred but not essential.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor staff effectively.
• Deep understanding of US tax laws and regulations, additional UK Tax Knowledge is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
