The Role

We’re recruiting for a User Engagement Managerhere at Justice Digital, to be part of one of our warm and collaborative teams.

The User Engagement Team is one of the functions that make up the Demand and Business Relationship Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating between the technical and non-technical - Able to listen to the needs of the technical and business stakeholders and interpret between them.
  • Able to manage stakeholders’ expectations and be flexible, is capable of proactive and reactive communication. Facilitates difficult discussions with diverse senior stakeholders.
  • Effective communication – Able to identify the most effective channels and tools to engage end users. Design and develop targeted and user-friendly messages suitable for use across a range of channels.
  • Organisational skills - Able to work independently to manage multiple competing communications priorities. Developing and delivering against communications plans at both a local, low-level, and wider, strategic level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - Experience working collaboratively across different areas, managing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of key priorities.
  • Team dynamics and collaboration - Able to bring people together to form a motivated team. Able to empower staff and create the right environment for a team to work in. Recognises and promptly deals with any challenges.
  • Line management of 3 x HEOs.
  • Working closely with colleagues in Demand and Business Relationship Management for the planning and implementation of communications required.

Person Specification

  • Ability to Convert technical language into understandable terms for non-technical staff and have a keen eye for detail to avoid opportunities for misunderstanding and misinterpretation. You will also have experiance disseminating clear and accurate messaging to non-technical staff about digital and technology changes (including major incidents) and how they would impact individual end users.
  • Experiance engaging with suppliers and a broad range of Subject Matter Experts at various levels across organisations to ensure that end users are appropriately informed of changes and that we are promoting improvements to the services in use.
  • Experience leading the planning and delivery of communications through a range of channels in a large and complex organisation.
  • Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders on their requirements for messaging and the content within them to ensure the best possible service for end users.
  • Ability to Clarify strategies and plans and provide a clear sense of leadership, direction, and purpose for a team.
  • Experience Implementing and driving key processes to deliver an improved service for customers. While maintaining accurate records and continually monitoring data accuracy and reporting against it. You will demonstrate low-level data analysis to identify trends and issues.
