Job description

We are partnering with a public sector organisation on building a new digital platform for collecting information from key institutions nationally. As part of this we are looking for a User Researcher who has worked in the public sector to GDS standards in previous roles.
The role is technically being recruited for on a Fixed-term contract basis, but it is for a period of 3+ years and the expectation is that this person would go into a permanent role once the project is completed. Their offices are in Bristol and you can work from these as much as you like but this is a hybrid role where the minimum requirement is to be onsite once a month.
Please note: This role is only open to candidates with full right to work in the UK already as we are unable to offer sponsorship for visas.
You will be rewarded with:
- Salary of £43,000 - £47,000 DOE
- Civil service pension - 27.9% employer contribution!
- Hybrid working - in Bristol 1 day per month minimum or as much over this as you want
- 30 days holiday + Bank Holidays and other business-wide closure days!
Essential Skillset / Experience:
- Strong commercial experience as a User Researcher
- Strong Public Sector experience
- Strong GDS experience
- Working in a user-centred design function

- Employing a wide range of user research methods and understanding how and when to apply them

- Presenting findings to key stakeholders and decision makers

- Agile / Scrum


Desirable Skillset / Experience:
- Experience working on external facing portals for data submission and processing
