As a talented UI & UX Designer, your opportunity is to delight consumers on our flagship website Pastaevangelists.com and bring our customer experiences to life, right from their very first interactions with us.
We’re making it easy for hungry consumers to get the world’s best Fresh Pasta anytime, anywhere. Your mission is to help new customers order quickly, easily and confidently and ensure new and returning existing customers are delighted at every interaction.
We make it easy to enjoy fresh, authentic pasta at home. You will care deeply about consumer experience and contribute to building digital products that people love to use again and again and that positively influence KPIs of the business.
What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists:
- Get to know our customers and their problems, build empathy, and a deep understanding of their needs.
- Discover, design and deliver simple, beautifully crafted, intuitive experiences that delight customers.
- Be influential in your team, increasing awareness of customer needs and creativity.
- Monitor the impact that your work has for our customers and the business KPIs.
Who you are:
- You’ve got solid experience (5-8+ years) as a designer, in a growth startup environment, with a strong portfolio of work.
- You are someone who acts autonomously and wants to define your path to success.
- You’ll be able to define what great is, explain your process and demonstrate how it solves customer problems, and be able to get your team bought in to your ideas.
- A proven track record of being able to deliver highly ambitious products. You’ll be ready to show what these are, and how you made it happen.
- You know how to test and measure the effectiveness of the experiences you create.
- You have solid experience in everything from ideation through to finished designs.
- You’re collaborative and can work with the team to problem solve and rapidly iterate designs.
- You feel comfortable picking up new, relevant design tools, and use data to prioritise what you work on.
- You can give and receive feedback constructively, and you’re always keen to learn.

About Pasta Evangelists
Pasta Evangelists was born seven years ago out of a desire to become the authority in fresh pasta. We’re on a mission to reimagine and elevate pasta as a category, which is worth a staggering £3.8bn yet has seen little innovation for decades.
Since launching our original fresh pasta recipe kit service in 2016, we have built a cult following of British pasta lovers – our Evangelists – who are passionate about discovering the breadth and variety of pasta, as well as the irresistible stories behind it.
Today, Pasta Evangelists is backed by Barilla (the world’s biggest pasta company) and is proud to be the UK’s biggest pasta brand by revenues, as well as one of the UK’s fastest-growing startups. In addition to our website, our recipe kits are also available for customers to purchase through major online retailers like Ocado & Amazon Fresh. Londoners can also treat themselves to fine Italian dinings at our high-end Harrods Pasta Bar, or learn to make our signature dishes from scratch at our viral Pasta Academy, where we welcome thousands of pasta lovers every month.
Most recently, we’ve been busy disrupting Britain’s pizza-centric Italian takeaway market with a brand new fresh pasta takeaway concept, available on pastaevangelists.com as well as major delivery players like Deliveroo, UberEats and JustEat. With more than 40 kitchens across the UK, we’re expanding coverage to new cities on an almost weekly basis (including our first openings in Scotland and Wales!). We've also opened the UK's biggest pastificio (which, in Italian, means pasta factory, but 'pastificio' better reflects the type of fresh, artisanal pasta we produce) in Acton, West London, allowing us to make ever more exciting and ambitious pasta and sauces for our customers.
