The UX writing team sits within Experience Design area and is responsible for managing HSBC’s content on multiple platforms for Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) globally. The team support a Global market creating content across apps and online with a multi-language coverage.

Responsibilities

•    Lead collaboration with our Experience Design team, Product and Analysis teams to create clear, consistent, and market-leading content for our products and features.
•    Drive production of high-quality and accurate copy across digital and social channels for products and services
•    Work across a variety of projects, ensuring adequate and appropriate prioritisation and communicate effectively with stakeholders at a local, regional and global level
•    Ensure all content presents an accurate overview of brand and is aligned to brand guidelines/tone etc. 
•    Manage a small team of UX Writers, being people focused rather than task focused.

Request

Experience

•    Experience of User Centred Design methodology and its practical implementation and ideally across multi-channel content creation such as web, mobile and tablet.
•    Experience and knowledge of delivering digital best practice in areas such as content management and accessibility is advantageous.
•    People experience in customer focused organisations, in disciplines such as Digital, Design or product management, with leadership skills motivating and inspiring others to excel.
•    Excellent relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities, including the ability to communicate technical issues, resolve differences and influence stakeholders.
•    Familiar with the use of tools including Confluence, JIRA or Adobe Experience Manager and strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues.
