Work Hours: Full time - Permanent – 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: From £24,000 to £26,000 per year dependant on experience

A superb opportunity has arisen for a UX/UI Designer to join One Call Insurance – a well-established, rapidly expanding Insurance Broker operating for over 25 years. As a UX/UI Designer you will be responsible for designing our various websites, digital assets and online customer experience. The role involves research, design, prototyping, multi variant testing and analysis/evaluation to ensure digital/non digital customer interactions are user-friendly and intuitive to bring positive impact on customer conversion and retention.

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Skills in web design/IA/user experience tools
- Experience of test and learn principles with examples
- Experience and expertise in agile design and development methodologies
- Experience of researching and analysing user behaviour and interpreting back to actionable tasks designed to improve sales conversion
- Evidence of understanding on customer audience segmentation and the impact in web development/design
- An eye for clean and artful design, superior visual design skills, be able to translate high-level requirements into impactful interface designs with focus on balancing customer needs, business drivers and technical possibilities
- A working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Knowledge interpreting website recording tools such as Smartlook
- Experienced in HTML, CSS, JavaScript desirable
- Front-end developer skills would be advantageous
What skills do you need?
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Analytical and creative with the ability to make data led recommendations in order to solve problems
- Strong design skills with a keen interest in the latest in UI developments
- Able to conceptualise and design best-practice, intuitive solutions that meet customer and business objectives
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple project
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Duties include
- Optimise the customer experience whilst also delivering commercial benefits
- Design wireframes, build prototypes and conduct user research for our online user experience
- Conduct regular reviews of our online infrastructure to suggest improvements in line with our objectives
- Manage your tasks from start to finish, interacting with other involved departments
- Effectively work with stakeholders to understand and meet business objectives
- Provide support in graphic design responsibilities across print and digital platforms
