Remote with a day a month in London and occasional travel to client sites.

Job Summary

My client are looking for a UX/UI Designer who has experience in creating everything from user flows, to design systems, to high fidelity designs as well as being able to communicate them to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will approach design work with technical empathy ensuring that all visual recommendations are achievable in code once it comes to handing over to developers. You'll approach your work with a design systems mindset utilising Figma features such as components, variables, and auto-layout to achieve consistent, scalable, quality user interfaces.

Essential Requirements

• Experience of contributing to/or creating a design system from scratch
• Deep competency in Figma
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong skillset across the UX deliverable spectrum from information architectures and stakeholder interviews through to complete high fidelity interfaces
• Experience gathering client requirements and creating specifications for design

Desirable

• Front-end experience in HTML and CSS
• Good workshopping chops
• Experience making clickable prototypes
• Experience with Tailwind CSS and/or other frameworks
• Experience of mentoring and coaching other team members
• A keen eye for designing for business value
