The Key Requirements
- Degree level, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or Business Administration
- Proven ability to develop, manage and motivate high performing teams in a matrix management environment.
- Understanding of the key drivers in customer service, manufacturing, transport & warehousing operations & how this is integrated with Warehouse operations.
- Experience in operating warehouses and warehouse networks to support manufacturing and despatch operations.
- Experience of prioritising and balancing inbound and outbound stock movements & controlling warehouse capacity
- Experienced in operating inhouse inbound raw materials operations and managing HGV drivers.
- Experience in managing and maintaining a fleet of heavy goods vehicles and other vehicles, production and warehouse support vehicles and trailers and FLT’s.
- A working knowledge of supply chain systems & processes within a manufacturing environment (e.g. Order Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Transport Management Systems, Inventory Management Systems & ERP systems especially SAP)
- An understanding of how to integrate sustainability throughout all processes and decision making.
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-2.30pm
