About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Match Day Facilities Coordinator.  In this varied role, you will ensure smooth and efficient running of academy Match Days. This will include booking and managing the stewarding compliment for all activities on site, ensuring catering provision is booked, managing, and administering the site ticketing and access processes. You will assist the site facilities team where and when needed as well as being the main point of contact and host for visiting teams to site.

What will you be doing?

    Book stewarding requirement for all activities across site.

    Administer the ticketing system to ensure access to site is managed in accordance with any current legislation. 

    Ensure catering provision is booked as and when needed.

    Ensure stewarding team are trained and kept up to date with any relevant qualifications for the role.

    Continually look for ways to improve the matchday experience for all user groups. 

    Be the point of contact for coaches, security and facilities for any issues that may arise on matchdays. 

    Be main host/point of contact for visiting teams to ensure a positive matchday experience is had.

    Assist the women’s team in booking stewards for any training or fixtures they host on site. 

    Continually assessing/patrolling the site on matchdays looking out for any H&S related issues that may be present to bring to attention of facilities team.

    Work alongside facilities team to assist where required. 

    Carry out basic facility jobs like fire alarm testing, water temp testing when available. 

    Assist in management of external contractors.

    Produce post-event reports.

    Ensure FA/Premier League officials and staff are met and greeted on arrival to site.

    Ensure site checks are completed before the arrival of teams.

    Ensure relevant risk assessments are adhered too.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of Match Day coordination with the ability to supervise stewarding staff and manage contractors.  You will be experienced in public facing event work and ideally will have a Level 2 Spectator Safety Certificate. You will have practical DIY skills to carry out minor repairs and have a good awareness of health, safety, security and hygiene issues; an ISOH Working Safely qualification would be beneficial. You will have good IT skills.  With your strong written and verbal communication skills, you are approachable and work well within a team. Having great organisation and problem-solving skills, you can prioritise workloads and plan effectively using your own initiative.  

You can work flexibly to meet the needs of the role and be trained or have an awareness of Safeguarding. You will be SIA licenced or willing to obtain the licence and preferably will have a First Aid qualification.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. The core days will be Saturday and Sunday, and any other 3 days from the working week where the needs of the business require. Your main base will be our Academy in Kirby.
