Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Mauchlin.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Kilmarnock and is located in a small town. It has a great relationship with the local GP surgery/health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 1700 items a week,
• It provides a wide range of services including Pharmacy First, Methadone, Smoking sensation, GF, EHC .
• It provides services to 12 substance misuse patients.
• It dispenses 73 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 9am until 6pm, Monday – Friday , closing 1 hour for lunch and Saturday 9am - 1pm.

The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of a Team Leader full time, Tech full time PA full time PT PA

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
