Job Introduction
SENIOR PLANNER| PERMANENT | £37,000 - £40,000
As the Senior Planner, you will be responsible for creating production schedules in accordance with customer forecast, weekly planning meeting feedback, plant capacity, and doc to fill timings.
You will consult with colleagues, Suppliers, Customers and their agents on planning related topics. As well as driving OEE.
The Key Requirements
- In-depth understanding of the factors involved in planning a high-volume manufacturing process, within a multi-discipline environment.
- Experience in managing the supply chain activity for a high volume 24/7 operation.
- Experienced in overseeing the planning elements of Sales and Operations Planning processes in order to highlight future constraints and pinch points.
- Experience of managing and making aware the financial implications covered by the role e.g., demurrage costs, optimal planning for good OEE performance levels.
- Ability to work in partnership with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, both internal and external.
