The Opportunity
Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a Validation Engineer for a leading manufacturer of diesel engines based in Peterborough. Our client is looking for somebody to support their worldwide product development team on a variety of equipment types.

The Role
Acting as a point of contact for technical queries through all stages of New Product Integration (NPI), you will be working closely with the product and engineering teams to manage and deliver internal combustion engine power system integration projects through the execution of the Application and Installation process. You will also be the initial escalation point for customer critical issues and supporting customer collaboration events such as product development workshops.
You will be supporting diesel engine power system selection and delivery of projects and power system specification through product life cycle, managing changes through new engine configuration option requests.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively on customer requirements and project governance, and directly with our customers' engineering teams on their machine validation planning and test execution.
About You
You must have a relevant degree or demonstrable experience in lieu of qualifications. You will have diesel engine knowledge and experience in development and validation test planning and execution. A key part of your role will be New Product Integration (NPI), so experience in this area is essential. You should also have experience using Teamcentre for Bill of Material management, 3D modelling, and workflows, although design experience is not required.
