Validation Engineer
Full time - flexible - Permanent
Salary -£39,000 DOE- Stonehouse
The Role:
- Prepare validation documentation andmonitorexecution of validation plans.
- Support investigations and reporting.
- Continuous improvement - support.
- Provide technical support for failure analysis.
- Attendreview meetings, representing the Team.
- Risk escalation.
- Support departmental targets.
- Ensure EH&S and Quality Management System conformance (IATF 16949).
- Support Reliability Engineering methodologies.
- Support developmenttowards the provisionof reliability life estimates - products/systems
The Person:
- Degree level or other equivalent qualification in Engineering sector.
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
- Knowledge of project managements skills and the ability to multi-task and switch effectively between different activities and priorities.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams to meet company business objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, pressurised environment.
Desirable:
- A data driven Engineer with experience in applying DoE's&statistical analysis.
- Good Reliability Engineering knowledge; Weibull, FMEA, Statistical Analysis etc.
- Knowledge of diesel common rail fuel injection systems, test environments and diesel engines.
- Exposure to rig test instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis.
- Experience working with customers and communicating at all levels.
