Fantastic Validation Technician position within a sought-after employer based in North Kent!

This role has the opportunity to work in a small, state of the art laboratory environment, completing all allocated formulation sample requests, working to deadlines. You will be maintaining all GMP, GLP and H&S standards, and carrying out reporting on your findings.  

Duties for a Validation Technicianinclude:

• Completing all allocated sample requests using small scale production facilities.
• Colour matching, manufacturing small scale samples.
• Working to targets and deadlines.
• Obtain quotes and orders for raw materials and equipment.
• Calibrate technical equipment.
• Working to regulations, both industry standard and internal company policies.
• Extensive, accurate document management as well as record keeping and reporting.
• Adhering to safety standards

The right candidate will have/be:

• Some experience as a Laboratory Technician/Assistant would be an advantage but is not essential if you have some Production/Manufacturing experience, or a Chemistry degree.
• Experience in validation.
• Educated to at least A Level standard (or equivalent)
• Good eyesight including colour vision (this is essential due to the nature of the role!)
• Practical, organised and analytical
• Ideally a Chemistry graduate
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Knowledge of ISO, GLP, GMP, COSHH
• Some knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology
• A driving licence and access to a car

Full training will be provided to the right candidate, but some relevant experience is required, along with a good attitude!
