About the programme


Arriving at a robust view on the value of businesses and other key assets is critical in supporting transactions or investment decisions, as well as enabling our clients to meet their regulatory, tax, or financial reporting requirements. Valuation is of high importance to our clients and the wider market. And so, your role with us will be extremely impactful. Expect to do work that makes a unique difference and work alongside colleagues who are there to support you all the way. What will you be doing?

  • Working on complex, high-profile client projects in either UK & Ireland (UK&I) or Financial Services (FS).
  • Performing research and analysis on various sectors and industries.
  • Understanding and applying specialist valuation techniques to value businesses and other key assets.
  • Teaming with colleagues from diverse backgrounds with a range of specialist skills.

Programme duration

Three years

Qualification/s you will gain

Financial Services (FS) – an option to choose between CFAB (with an opportunity to study towards CFA after successful completion of CFAB) as part of a 2 year Analyst programme, or the full ACA qualification as part of a 3 year Analyst programme.

UK & Ireland (UK&I) – ICAS or ICAEW

Level 7 Apprenticeship in Accountancy and Taxation (equivalent to a master’s degree).

Please note: Level 7 apprenticeships do not apply to EY offices in Scotland.

Are you eligible to apply?

You will, however, need to be working towards a numerate honour’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis or similar, as well as Law, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance or Property Management/Real Estate, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent).
