Value Stream Leader

Like most senior, manufacturing and operational roles, this is an on-site position.

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will have control over an important assembly business unit within the organisation, you will also be instrumental in developing  and setting the culture of continuous improvement.

As a Value Stream Leader, you will meet the internal and external customer requirements of the company, ensuring the quality and delivery of all Value Stream processes within budgeted costs. You will have full profit and loss responsibility for their most important assembly hall.

To give you an idea of how this  role would look and feel, here are some of the things you will lead on:

• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance for the Value Stream unit
• Ensure the appropriate focus is placed on behavioural safety
• Identify, manage and eradicate risks concerning HSE
• Ensure training on mandatory HSE topics has been undertaken by the whole team
• Introduce opportunities to minimise the environmental impact of the manufacturing unit

• Experience in a value-stream manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with new technologies and techniques for the development of new technologies, and new manufacturing technologies.
• Six sigma qualification, Black Belt would be desirable
