Money: 29100 per annum
Hours: 8.30am - 5pm
Days: Monday-Friday - No Weekends
My Client is a leading HGV Fleet company dedicated to delivering exceptional service in . As we continue to expand our operations, we are actively seeking a skilled and dependable Van Shunter Driver to join our team. Position Overview:
As a Van Shunter Driver, you will be a crucial part of our logistics team, specializing in the movement and positioning of trailers within our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and safely shunt trailers to support our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and drive Van shunting vehicles in a safe and efficient manner within the facility.
Perform MOT runs
Perform trailer shunting and positioning tasks to meet operational requirements.
Conduct pre-shift inspections on shunting equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Communicate effectively with other drivers and personnel to coordinate trailer movements.
Assist in the organization and optimization of trailer parking areas.
Adhere to safety protocols, traffic rules, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Valid Van driver's license.
Valid CPC and DIGI Card
Proven experience as a Van Driver.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
Physical fitness to perform shunting tasks and connect/disconnect trailers.
