SalaryThe Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Newcastle area. We are looking for a dedicated Van Drivers to join the team on a Part Time basis.
Hours: Every Monday, 8am starts until approximately 4:30pm (with the opportunity to pick more shifts up during the week).
Pay Rate: 11.81 per hour PAYE.
Location: Newcastle, NE37.
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
Transporting next day parcels to the hub in Warrington.
Handballing and heavy lifting of parcels, ensuring safe and secure handling.
Scanning parcels accurately to maintain shipment integrity.
Loading and unloading parcels with care and attention to detail.
Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
A valid UK driver's license.
Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
