An energy company are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a VAT Analyst.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing VAT compliance and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of returns. Key responsibilities include analysing transactions, reconciling VAT accounts, and liaising with internal stakeholders to gather necessary data. Additionally, the role involves staying up-to-date with VAT regulations and assisting with VAT audits as required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or finance, with specific experience in VAT ideally from a Mid Tier accounting practice.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team are essential.
