SalaryA fantastic opportunity has opened up at a well renowned company for a Vehicle Assembler on an exciting project which is starting this March 2024. You'll be joining an established team of experienced Mechanics on a 2 year contract with the chance of going permanent after.
We are looking for Vehicle Assemblers to join this company that have a passion for working on vehicles and can hit the ground running.
Due to the nature of the company, we are looking for experienced Vehicle Assemblers that will be able to dismantle vehicles and reassemble with bespoke modifications.
Responsibilities:
- Stripping of commercial vehicles
- Building bespoke vehicles
- Read and interpret mechanical instructions
- Use a variety of hand and bench tools (torque wrenches etc.)
- Work as part of a team or on your own using initiative
Requirements:
- Previous experience working on vehicles
- Working from an instruction work log
- Previous experience within a mechanical environment
- Previous experience using workshop tools including torque wrenches, socket wrenches, screwdriver etc.
- Hold a current UK driving licence.
- Willing to undergo a Criminal Disclosure check
- SC clearance or ability to achieve this (UK national with residency in the UK for the last 5 years)
Candidates for this position must be able to provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the country the role is based in. Immigration visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
