The Role:

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator, you will evaluate Vehicle Damage and prepare detailed repair estimates.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged vehicles to determine repair requirements.
• Prepare precise and comprehensive repair estimates using manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
• Order necessary parts and materials for vehicle repairs.
• Monitor repair progress to ensure adherence to high standards.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding repair costs and timelines.
• Stay updated with manufacturer repair methods and industry practices.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain workshop standards, ensuring a clean and organised environment.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Estimator or in a similar role in an accident repair centre.
• Understanding of vehicle repair methods, materials, and costs.
• Skilled in using manufacturer repair data and industry guidelines.
• Strong ability to build rapport with customers and insurance companies.
• Familiarity with the Audatex system would be beneficial.
• Valid UK driving licence.
