Our well-established client are recruiting for a Vehicle Electrician to join their growing team.
Electrical Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
- Working on bespoke equipment
- Install electrical control systems (Digital I/O, PLC etc.)
- Test electrical control systems
- Read and work from wiring diagrams
- Communicate electrical issues to non-electrical colleagues
The ideal Electrical Technician will have:
- Knowledge of fundamentals of electrical wiring.
- Knowledge of control systems.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams from existing vehicle electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose electrical malfunctions within automotive systems
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Complex problem solving
- Ability to communicate electrical issues to non-electrical colleagues
- Knowledge of pneumatic control systems
- Basic mechanical skills
Electrical Technician working hours:
- 40 Hour week
- Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays
