Main duties include:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high-quality standards
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Collaborate with sales staff to provide accurate estimates and repair timelines for customers
• Inspect vehicles for potential issues and perform necessary repairs to meet our quality requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Continuously update technical knowledge through training and professional development opportunities
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the repair process
Skills and Education:
• Relevant qualification or certification in automotive repair (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC)
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, preferably in a dealership or independent garage
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of modern diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid UK driving license
• MOT testing certification is a plus, but not essential.
