Starting Salary- £22,660 Rising to £23,690 after 6 month successful probation period
Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Vehicle Operations Co-ordinator to join the business. This position will be based at our Training School office in Knowsley.

Your role will include:
– Assist with handover of vehicles to MJQ engineers.
– Help ensure all vehicles are appropriately prepared including, but not limited to, sign-written, racked, fuelled and kitted, and assigned on CRM to the relevant department, job number and individual.
– After training, assess returned vehicles for physical damage, upon assessment assist in the decision-making process for either a third party repair or direct return for off-hire/repair.
– Help ensure all vehicles are safe and fit for purpose enforcing company standards throughout the fleet operations.
– Carry out cleaning and general upkeep of vehicles as and when required this includes but is not limited to the emptying and loading of tooling/equipment/machinery on vehicles.
– Predominantly depot based and the scope of responsibilities will mean that they will be required to work mostly outdoors regularly carrying out vehicle checks, appropriate hi-visibility clothing must be worn at all times.
– To fulfil each task as requested by the Fleet Operations Manager and Senior Management.
– Developing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with the Fleet Operations Manager and other departments is a key part of the role.
– Produce all work in line with MJ Quinn standards and use best practice methods.
– To comply with all general policies and procedures
Requirements:
· Full valid driving licence
· Willingness to learn and attend relevant training courses
· Fully flexible in terms of hours worked and duties carried out
· Understanding of Excel, Word and Outlook
· Communication skills
· IT Literate
Preferred experience:
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Mechanical knowledge
