Vehicle Painter/Sprayer | Reading | 7am- 5.30pm Monday-Friday | £45,000 - £50,000 Per year + bonus

Our client is an accident repair centre that is part of the One Call Group of companies. It has been established for over 10 years, and is a group of insurance-approved vehicle repair centres, working to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. They specialise in car body repairs and accident crash repairs.

They are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Painter and Sprayer to join their team and deliver the best customer service to their clients.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Skilled in the profession with a minimum of 1+years’ experience in a vehicle painter or sprayer role
• Comfortable in a painting environment
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised
• Keen to support others and a cooperative team player
• The ability to maintain a consistently high standard whilst under pressure
• Able to complete work from start to finish within the time frame given
• Customer-focused and team-oriented

What will your role look like?

• Prepare vehicles to be painted by hand or machine
• Mix and match paint by eye or by using computer technology to ensure correct colour match
• Apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns, and rub down surfaces between coats
• Touch up paintwork and apply polish to vehicles
• Remove masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintwork
• Treat vehicles with rush-proofing chemicals
• Working in a spray booth to ensure the paint is confined to the specific areas
