Toomey Motor Group are one the largest independently owned automotive retailers in Essex, and we are proud to say we are actively seeking a candidate for a full time role as an Vehicle Quality & Control Coordinator in our Vehicle Centre for our Southend & Basildon locations, we are looking for someone who is full of passion, drive, energy and commitment for an exciting new position within a local business that can contribute their continued success to a strong performance, growth and leadership throughout both of our locations.
If successful you will be joining a prestigious vehicle dealership, who pride themselves on their customer service. You will be fully trained by our long standing team of staff, with constant feedback, mentoring and regular appraisals.
Are you good with Administration, and fine details?
As a Vehicle Quality & Control Coordinator, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Organising, planning and compiling the daily output of the valeting and smart repair teams.
- Providing a high level of Colleague and Manager engagement .
- Supervising the standards of taking photographs for the website and advertising team.
- Dealing with smart repairs making sure the quality standards are adhere and time scales are met.
- Confidence to deal with difficult colleagues in an effective and professional manner ensuring that the outcome is always positive
- Continuously driving for Quality and targeted completion times.
- Chasing progress and updating the management team between departments where necessary
- Supporting the management team where necessary (working from either the Basildon or Southend location)
- Highly organised with the ability to manage time effectively, working to deadlines within a busy office environment
- Full, clean UK Driving License
- Ability to work well under pressure
Hours
- Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 17.30 pm (half an hour for lunch unpaid)
What you can expect
- Basic Salary - National Minimum Wage
- 22 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
- You will be required to have a "full clean UK manual driving licence" held for at least two years
- Bonus on percentage of targeted KPIs
