Vehicle Restoration Technician

We are looking for a passionate and truly impressive Vehicle Restoration Technician to join us at our new Truro workshop.

We would consider a permanent, full-time or part-time position.

You will need to be a fully qualified auto mechanic and have a track record of working to extremely high standards on vintage, classic and restomod vehicles.

We are looking for a like-minded professional to help us to deliver the "WOW" factor when rebuilding and remanufacturing our own restoration projects and customer' commissions.

Our restoration workshop aims to focus on a small number of makes and models, that said, we have rebuilt and restored a bunch of L.R. Series/Defenders between us in the past and could always be tempted to take on just one or two more..!

This is a substantial and varied role where your welding and fabrication skills are key, and your general older mechanical knowledge and experience are a 'must, as we will also be offering servicing and repair work to a range of classic marques.

Paint-work experience would be a bonus but not essential.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

• Extensive experience working on vintage, classic and restomod vehicles.
• Excellent welding and general mechanical repair skills.
• A relevant qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ3.
• Your own comprehensive set of tools and tool chest.
• A full and preferably clean UK driving licence.

An attractive basic salary will be based on your proven skills and experience.
