Form of workOcean BMW Torbay is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician.
Your role
You will have proven Service Technician experience and will work on electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems for a range of BMW models. With our diagnostic technology at your fingertips, you’ll inspect components for wear and tear, carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts, as well as verifying vehicle functions and their subsystems and performing retrofitting work. We’ll also look to you to support and guide other technicians and apprentices.
Your profile
You must hold a level 3 qualification, applicants from both Main Dealer and Independent Workshops are welcomed.

The packages we are offering are dependent upon experience and accreditation however you can expect packages as below.
Senior Technician up to £38,600 uncapped for over performance
- Qualified Technician up to £33,600 uncapped for over performance
- Inexperienced Service Technician up to £28,600 uncapped for over performance
Any overtime is paid at time and a half.
BMW backed ongoing training through to Master Technician and development is offered with this role particularly on EV/hybrid technology.
