As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you’ll take care of vehicle servicing, plus fixing minor and major mechanical faults and minor electrical faults.What does the role of Technician / Mechanic involve? * Complete Vehicle Health Checks (VHC) * Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs on our customers’ vehicles * Complete cam belt and clutch replacements * Efficiently service and maintain our customers’ vehicles, taking care of everything from brake pads and tyres, to oil and filter checksWhat qualities do I need to succeed in the Technician / Mechanic role? * Experience of working within a franchised dealer or independent garage * Knowledge of completing cam belt and clutch replacements, plus vehicle servicing and maintenance * Ability to interpret and complete any necessary paperwork * Confidence to complete a Vehicle Health Check video and report, ensuring that the video completion meets targets and exceeds all VHC KPIs * Possess an NVQ L3 or equivalent, full UK driving licence and own set of tools * A passion for the automotive world, and a love for fixing our customers’ vehicle problems!As an CarStore Associate, you’ll enjoy a competitive salary and a stunning environment to work in.
