About the Role: Are you an experienced Vehicle Mechanic looking for a role with regular hours and no weekends? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team in Belper, working on a diverse range of vehicles for a local authority. From police cars to council vehicles, you'll be responsible for servicing and repair work, ensuring their optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake servicing and repair work on a variety of vehicles, including police cars, unmarked police cars, and council vehicles.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Complete all tasks to a high standard within specified timeframes.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
