Salary: Starting from £28,000 DOE

Job Type: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, every other Saturdays 8:30 - 1:00pm Full-time, Permanent

We are currently looking to recruit a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic and MOT tester for an independent garage specialising in Alfa Romeo and Fiat.

Responsibilities:

• You will be undertaking maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to a high standard whilst paying attention to detail
• This role will include all levels of mechanical and technical work, ranging from servicing to engine work, diagnostics and MOT testing
• The ability to calculate the expected time needed to carry out any work
• Keeping your workspace clean and tidy because we take pride in what we do!

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• You must have at least an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and a Full UK Driving licence to be considered, if you do not hold an MOT licence, we would still like to hear from you as training can be arranged for the successful applicant
• No points on your Full UK Driving licence
• A pro-active approach to working, passionate about what you do
• Strong communication skills
• You will be a team player who can also thrive working alone
• You are confident and able to take charge of your role and the challenges it brings
• You are organised and are able to prioritise tasks to maximise your output
