An innovative and ambitious technology solutions provider based in the South Birmingham region. They work in partnership with clients across the private and public sector in the UK. To support their continued growth plans, they are currently recruiting a Vendor Manager to join the team.
Your new role
The Vendor Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with six key suppliers who provide multi-million pound services to the organisation. The role will develop collaborative relationships, and be the key point of contact and escalation for supplier-related issues. The Vendor Manager will facilitate monthly and quarterly supplier performance reviews seeking opportunities for cost savings and to drive continuous improvement. The post holder will also support the Bid Manager in the completion of tenders and gather necessary information from suppliers and negotiating relevant costs for required services.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a Supplier Development Manager or Vendor Manager with proven success in managing complex multi-million pound contracts. You will be able to demonstrate significant cost savings and supplier relationship development within complex contracts. You will be highly commercial, have superb negotiation skills and be able to build effective relationships. Ideally, you will have experience from the Technology, Software or Telecoms sector.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £65,000 to £70,000 plus an attractive performance-related bonus scheme and private medical insurance. The role will work on a hybrid basis with the flexibility of working from home up to two days per week.
