Your role - a driving licence is essential for this position as travel to Manchester would also be required where needed.
To be successful in this role you will need to possess excellent maintenance skills and have experience in servicing ventilation systems, be able to work independently and have a ‘can do’ attitude to your work and be able to work well with other members of our maintenance team. This position would suit a multi-skilled person with excellent communication skills. Crucial for this role is to be able to confidently work on IT systems such as Electronic Diary and in-house maintenance systems (training to be provided).

• Carry out servicing & repairs to ventilation systems on all sites, ensuring relevant documentation is accurately completed, and reporting findings and necessary follow up works to the Compliance Manager.
• Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service to the tenants and landlords of the X1 properties.  Work closely with our Compliance Manager and Property Managers to resolve reported issues inside the apartments in a timely manner.  
• Comply with safe working practices & report faulty equipment and potential hazards.
• Liaising with Property Managers to ensure that all scheduled jobs are completed and regular updates are provided.
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner.

Key skills 

• Previous experience in a similar role / relevant qualifications.
• An ability to use initiative to achieve proactive site maintenance.
• Skilled at DIY & general maintenance for example; tiling, basic plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating, basic electrical works.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills as this will be a tenant facing role.
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Good organisational skills.
• Work well as part of a team & possess excellent communication skills.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
