About the role:
We are expanding our London sourcing team and are looking for Meeting & Event Coordinators (Sourcing) / Venue Find Consultants (Sourcing) to join our team on a full-time basis.
Our consultants are the face of BCD Meetings & Events for our customers. You will be dealing directly with our clients; receiving their meeting & event requests, finding the perfect venue that fits their requirements, negotiating to ensure the price fits the budget and presenting the best solution to exceed expectations. A Consultant role with BCD M&E is the springboard into building a career in the Meetings & Events industry.

What you bring:
- A background in customer service and/or a desire to delight customers by exceeding their expectations
- The tenacity to give your best and turn challenges into solutions, even when doing so is difficult
- Driven to do what’s right by acting with integrity, communicating clearly and transparently
- The want to solve it together as a team by building and maintaining trust-based relationships
- Able to act with purpose while juggling multiple priorities, adapting to change effectively and positively
- Motivated to feed the future and develop yourself, your expertise, and your skills
- Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, and good written and verbal language capability
You may also have:
- Previous experience of working within the M&E, travel, or hospitality industries
- Experience using booking systems, for example Cvent.

You should know:
- This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week in our London Office
- Our standard working hours are 9:00 AM -5:30 PM with an hour break
- You may be required to travel to attend company meetings / events or Familiarisation trips which may be in the UK or Overseas
- You must have the right to live and work in the UK for this role
