Veterinarian

Job Description:

As a Veterinarian at out client's practice, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and providing medical care to a variety of animals.

We are looking for a newly qualified OR experienced Vet. The most important quality is the ability to put both the patients and their people at ease. You will need to be able to explain things in non technical terms so that you are clearly understood. Customer care is of the utmost priority.

You will work closely with pet owners to ensure they are well-informed about their pets' health and offer guidance on preventive care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough physical examinations and medical assessments of animals.
• Diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
• Performing surgeries and dental procedures when required.
• Prescribing medications and creating comprehensive treatment plans.
• Offering guidance on preventive care, nutrition, and behaviour.
• Communicating effectively with pet owners to ensure they understand their pets' health and treatment options.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• A degree in Veterinary Medicine, recognised and registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
• A valid UK veterinary license.
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and a genuine love for animals.
• Willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
