We are seeking an organised and highly motivated individual to join our team at VetMediUK. An online veterinary pharmacy.
A high volume of veterinary related products are sent out Monday to Friday to the end user, the animal owner. A rapidly growing business, it is an exciting time to join VetMediUK with great prospects for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy/Warehouse Assistant , you will be responsible for checking and unpacking the daily deliveries of stock. This requires accuracy and organisational skills .
You will also be required to organise the days orders to go out, pick and pack products for individual orders. A key eye for detail is essential and ability to pack packages neatly and professionally.
You will have responsibility to maintain a clean and tidy work place.
There may be some administrative tasks such as calling suppliers when there are stock delivery issues, answering e-mails from customers or speaking to customers on the phone.
- An understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) is a bonus
- Knowledge of veterinary products is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Hours - 9am - 4pm with half an hour break
Location - YO19 6ET ( a rural location with no direct public transport link)
Pay - Starting rate - £14.00 ph 32.5 hours a week paid monthly
